The Region of Murcia present for the first time as an institution in ANUGA 2019
According to Murciaeconomía.com, the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia (CARM) has been present, for the first time as an institution, through the ‘Instituto de Fomento‘ (Info), in this edition of ANUGA, the world’s largest trade fair for food and beverages, which took place from 5 to 9 October in Cologne.
‘Murcia Economía’ informs that the director of the Info was accompanied by a delegation formed by 19 companies from the Region of Murcia. In addition, this medium highlights that this edition of ANUGA has had as a novelty an inventive co-financed that allows participating companies to invite potential customers to attend the event.
Murcian companies that have participated in ANUGA 2019
According to the organization, the companies that have attended this latest edition of ANUGA to present and promote their products are Cofrutos, which is dedicated to the manufacture of fruit juices; Conservas Hersan, which markets preserves of fish, fruits and vegetables throughout the year; Conservas de Murcia, commercial and service agency involved in the import and export of canned and frozen fruits and vegetables, olives, olive oils, anchovies and shellfish; El Pozo Alimentación, a leading company in meat products; HerboSpice, which is dedicated to the production of paprika and other food condiments; Miguel Parra e Hijos, leaders in lemon processing; JR Sabater, which markets vinegars, syrups, oils…; and Productos Mediterráneos Belchí Salas, which is dedicated to the artisanal production of extra virgin olive oil.
It is also worth noting that, according to Murciaeconomía.com, the Info and the ‘Agrupación de Empresas de Alimentación‘ (AGRUPAL), participated jointly through a joint space in a regional pavilion of this meeting.
100 years of ANUGA
In addition, in this 2019 edition, ANUGA celebrated 100 years of history that have served it to be the world’s largest trade fair for food and beverages and the most important meeting point for the agri-food industry.
